Bio
Benjamin Venter is a South African native raised in Springdale. He was homeschooled but represented the Springdale Bulldogs in high school athletics.
Venter posted a 2:04 time in the 800-meter run and a 16:56 5k at Springdale en route to being named Most Improved Athlete.
Venter is also a member of the NWACC Men's Cross Country team.
His sister Talitha is also a freshman at NWACC and competes in Women's Cross Country and Women's Track and Field for the Eagles.
Spring 2026 - Track and Field
Venter ran in five meets for the Eagles in track and field in both the 800 and 1500. He set personal bests for both in his final meet of the year April 11 at the Arkansas Spring Invitational, running a 2:09.76 in the 800 and a 4:21.01 over 1500 meters.
Fall 2025 - Cross Country
In his freshman season in Fall 2025, Venter helped the Eagles win the NJCAA Region 2 Championship and place 19th in the NJCAA Division II National Championship. Venter scored in both contests, sporting a 31:31.5 time at nationals and a 29:28.1 time in the region tournament (16th individually).
